On December 4, 2021, the Kennedy Center unveiled a bronze sculpture of the likeness of President John F. Kennedy. The 81-inch, 660-pound sculpture is located outdoors in the lower gardens of the campus and is accessible to all visitors at the Kennedy Center complex. The statue is a gift from Center Chairman David M. Rubenstein and is part of the year-long 50th anniversary celebration of the founding of the nation’s performing arts center.
